This is an estimate of coverage only. Actual Remote Telemetry coverage may vary based on terminal location, terrain features, signal strength, and other factors affecting satellite communications. Coverage may vary. Specifications subject to change without notice. This map indicates areas of potential satellite coverage only. Actual availability of service in any particular country may be subject to government approval. The most recent Spot X that can handle 2-way text messages do have a slightly different coverage as some areas cannot handle 2-way feature : {{ :network:globalstar-coverage-spotx.webp |}} {{:network:capture_d_ecran_2020-03-13_a_09.11.24.png?nolink&1000|}} ===== Simplex Network ===== The Globalstar Simplex data service is a low cost, one way satellite data delivery solution. It is ideal for tracking the location of mobile assets such as shipping containers, land transport vehicles including road and rail, heavy industrial equipment and any other high value assets. Data sent from a Simplex device, is captured by the Globalstar satellite network and delivered through the Internet direct to our servers. Recent monitoring tests indicate that the Simplex data network is currently operating at a successful transmission rate of greater than 99 percent. And because Globalstar’s Simplex data products are also designed to work with the second-generation satellite constellation, they are expected to provide customers with years of high quality reliable service well into the next decade and beyond. * One way messaging only (except for Spot X) * Low cost data delivery to http or email and even unlimited airtime plans * Low delay thanks to a low-orbit satellites network
